This logo was created for the campus arts initiative at the state university of new york at suny canton. The logo design was based on the color scheme of suny canton, as well as playing off the idea of balance found in the suny canton college logo, and architectural sculptures found on campus. This logo is intended to create a sense of balance and reflection while communicating the goals of the campus arts initiative.

as part of the campus arts initiative's work during the covid 19 pandemic during 2020, we created a campus wide art campaign, showcasing student work both digitally and physically. we called this campaign 'art that heals', as it was intended as a way to give students a way to express their feelings during the covid-19 lockdown. this logo design was one that i submitted early on, which was not used for the final design, but did lead to inspiration for the official 'art that heals' logo. This design is a simple variation on the college logo, which features a green leaf and a blue trapezoid. I simply altered the shape of the leaf and trapezoid to give it a more energetic feeling.

This logo was created for a local guitar shop, and custom guitar builder in canton, NY. The name of the guitar shop is windward music. I discussed various ideas for logos with the client, ultimately arriving at the conclusion that a w and m, standing for windward music was the right path for this logo. the client stated that he wanted a simple geometric design which would be easy to turn into an inlay when doing woodworking designs.

This was a logo concept for a massage therapist who specializes in sports medicine and pain management. the client wanted the logo to represent his approach: the benefit of massage therapy for optimizing performance, recovery and overall health maintenance. after discussion with the client, I settled on the image of a human back with outstretched arms, showcasing the shoulder muscles to create an image of strength. the client also wanted the image to communicate a sense of focus, with a clean and flowing aesthetic. the color blue was chosen to communicate the idea of health, wellness, and calm.
